Instead of focusing solely on the pleasure of catching fish, we should always consider the community as a whole, which includes the fishing areas, fishermen, local residents, and nature. That perspective is what we believe is truly cool.

Based on this mission, we have created many popular products and gained the support of anglers of all levels, from beginners to experts, under the policy that we have maintained since our establishment: to be a manufacturer that provides fun to anglers.
In our 40-year history, fishing equipment has evolved and fishing styles have changed, but our pursuit of 'enjoyment' for anglers remains unchanged despite changing times. Each and every one of our employees takes pride in their work, and with their abundance of imagination and energy, they are committed to providing an inspiring experience to as many people as possible.

Since the dawn of lure fishing, Jackson has been in a constant state of change. Through the years, with the support of anglers in Japan and abroad, I have faced many challenging experiences and repeated hardships. When we look back, we realize that our journey has been a long and extensive one. “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” The words of Darwin, who is famous for his theory of evolution. I hope that Jackson is a manufacturer who not only adapts to change, but also creates it.

1975
Jackson Corporation was established in Shizuoka City, Japan.
Started importing and selling Bill Lewis, Cotton Cordell, and other lures.
1980
Introduced “Cheiron,” a Sea Bass rod designed exclusively for lure-use.
1983
Introduced “Flippin Basser” Japan's first bass rod designed exclusively for Flipping
1984
Cheiron Basser series. Supported by the late writer Ken Kaiko.
1985
Released the "Monster Brown".
Mountain Stream Trout rod.
1999
Lure factory established in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture
2021
Bifur Corporation is established as a joint venture with Takashina Lifesaving Apparatus Co.
2022
Head office relocated to a new building in the same city.
Launched "Studio Jackson", a new business specializing in photography.
2024
Established Jackson USA, Inc. as an affiliate company in the U.S.
