This minnow measures 70mm in length and weighs 4g. Its action is exceptional, reminiscent of the original Athlete.

Recently, we tested the Athlete 70SF in a renowned river in Kagoshima Prefecture. The conditions featured a falling tide with ideal light and shadow contrasts.

Upon arriving at our chosen spot, we noticed several small sea bass making their presence known despite the current being inactive. I was confident in our potential catch. I cast the Athlete 70SF upstream and began to reel it in. Suddenly, I experienced a strong bite, as if the fish had eagerly snatched it away.

This was truly a prime fishing spot at just the right moment for action! As we let the lure drift, we encountered another bite... It proved to be more than just a bait for Sea Bass.

Despite a slowdown in activity as the season progressed, we enjoyed a productive day on the water. By utilizing a jerking technique, we successfully caught plenty of fish.
