One of the most well-known Japanese brands, Jackson, has entered the US market to add the excitement of a new method to US anglers.

Jackson’s strengths have been Trout BFS and Japanese-style surf fishing, both of which are upcoming new methods to the US that some innovative anglers have become aware of in the last few years.

Jackson’s US version of Trout BFS hardbaits are equipped with premium single-barbless hooks, which are required for most wild trout fields in states and to minimize damage to valuable wild trout. Jackson believes that Trout BFS will be the next boom in the US, and they are committed to providing products that are suitable for the US field characteristics.

The Meteora Series trout minnow (jerkbait term in trout) has become one of the most popular lure in the Japanese scene and the Trout Tune Series provides constant success for years. The Trout Rod Series Kawasemi Rhapsody has been a staple rod for generations and recently introduced Trout Signal Series, which caters to a wide variety of angler skills including first-timers.

Surf fishing has been extremely popular in Japan for the last few decades. Jackson has been one of the most popular brands on the surf, particularly with their user-friendly hardbait. The US has a long history of traditional surf fishing style that is very unique to its own. Jackson brings more of a light-tackle JDM-style as an addition to excite US anglers.

All of the Jackson surf lures and rods were developed in the high-pressure fields where anglers are required to present something different at all times. Jackson carefully selected lure series for the US market to target Halibut, Striper, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Snook for their initial assortment. Their popular surf series products are Athlete 12/14 SS, G-Control 20/28 and 40 lure series and OCEAN GATE – Surf rod series.

The company’s headquarters were established in 1975, in Shizuoka Pref. Japan Started as US Bass tackle importer. Lure development began in 1980 and most of their hardbaits are manufactured in the headquarters with 50 talented employees. Owned and operated by 2nd generation Keita Kato.

He states.

Our mission is to continually provide excitement and thrill to as many people as possible, which has led us to produce numerous products. Based on this mission, we have created many popular products and gained the support of anglers of all levels, from beginners to experts, under the policy that we have maintained since our establishment: to be a manufacturer that provides fun to anglers.

In our 40-year history, fishing equipment has evolved and fishing styles have changed, but our pursuit of ‘enjoyment’ for anglers remains unchanged despite changing times. Every one of our employees takes pride in their work, and with their abundance of imagination and energy, they are committed to providing an inspiring experience to as many people as possible.

Since the dawn of lure fishing, Jackson has been in a constant state of change. Through the years, with the support of anglers in Japan and abroad, I have faced many challenging experiences and repeated hardships. When we look back, we realize that our journey has been a long and extensive one. “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” The words of Darwin, who is famous for his theory of evolution. I hope that Jackson is a manufacturer who not only adapts to change but also creates it.

Entering the U.S. market has been a longtime dream of my father, the founder of the company.

Our commitment is to provide joy and thrill to anglers worldwide.

Jackson has not released freshwater bass tackle since the mid-1990s, so brand recognition in the U.S. has been limited. A new trend approach that fits the brand’s category appears to be emerging.

Jackson has launched the brand new website for the US exclusively – jackson-usa.com.

Jackson is accepting retailers, wholesale applications can be found online.
